Callie volunteered with Voluntario Global in 2017. She was part of the communications team and visited all of our community projects in Buenos Aires. Learn about her experience!

Cela fait maintenant une semaine que je suis arrivé à Buenos Aires et autant vous dire que je ne regrette pas du tout ce choix!

Argentina is known as the gastronomic capital of South America, and yes, Buenos Aires definitely deserves this reputation. Whether it’s salt or sweet, you will find your happiness at every level!

The very first Argentinian food that I had after I arrived in Buenos Aires was an empanada, a hand-size pastry filled with steaming minced meat and chopped onions. Even tough it was from a small shop in a corner, the taste was amazing.

It’s a Hard Dog Life

There are 4 community dogs in Pacheco: Moro, Shinki, Vaini and old “Pache”. These stray dogs are now the very soul of the project.

En tant que volontaire en communication, mon travail est d’aller de projets en projets, sentir l’ambiance sur place, puis d’écrire un article sur mon ressenti. Voici ma première expérience au centre Pacheco.

As a Communications volunteer, part of my work is to visit Voluntario Global projects, feel the atmosphere and write about my impressions. Here's my first article about my visit to Pacheco Community Center.

I’m Natasha, I’m 27 years old and from Australia. I’ve just finished my undergraduate degree in Psychology.

Ellie and I have chosen to interview some of the brilliant people that work for Voluntario Global and help give future volunteers an insight into their background and what volunteering means to them.
